YEREVAN. – Poland’s embassy in Armenia confirmed decision on granting
Armenian citizens the right to work in Poland without a work permit
for six months.

Spokesperson for the embassy Armen Ghazaryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am
that the decision concerns not only the citizens of Armenia, but the
citizens of other states participating in Eastern Partnership program.

The statement on the European Commission website
reads:[]

“Since 1 January 2014, Armenians will have the right to work in
Poland without a work permit for six months during twelve consecutive
months on the basis of an employer’s declaration of intent to hire
a foreigner.

The amended ordinance on cases when employment of a foreigner on the
territory of the Republic of Poland is possible without the necessity
of obtaining a work permit – signed by the Minister of Labour and
Social Policy – will enter into force on that date. At present, only
