RUSSIA ATTACHES IMPORTANCE TO MILITARY-TECHNICAL OPERATIONS WITH ARMENIA

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. The Prime Minister of the Republic of
Armenia Tigran Sargsyan received Deputy Director of the Federal Service
for the Military-Technical Cooperation of the Russian Federation,
president of the Armenian-Russian intergovernmental commission on
the military-technical cooperation of the Russian side Konstantin
Biryulin who arrived in Armenia to participate in the activities of
the 8th session of the commission to be held in Yerevan on November
25-29. The co-chair of the commission of the Armenian side is Deputy
Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Alik Mirzabekyan.

“Armenia attaches special importance to the Armenian-Russian
military-technical cooperation and tries to deepen it,” as “Armenpress”
was informed from the Department for Mass Media and Public Relations of
the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the Prime Minister of the
Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan stated it and highly appreciated
the personal contribution of Mr.

Biryulin to the strengthening of the bilateral military-technical
relations. Konstantin Biryulin underscored, in his turn, that Russia
attaches importance to the military-technical operation with Armenia
and takes steps to develop it.

The interlocutors held a discussion on the issues related to the
process and expansion of the military-technical operation between
Armenia and Russia.
