Cooperation discussed in Armenia with Iraqi army general

YEREVAN. – Armenia’s First Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan on
Friday met with General Nadeem al-Ajvadi of the Iraqi Air Force.
To note, General al-Ajvadi, who is a representative of the Ministry of
Defence of Iraq, is a member in the Armenian-Iraqi Intergovernmental
Committee, and he arrived in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan to
participate in a committee session.
At the talk, the interlocutors discussed the prospects for cooperation
between Armenia and Iraq in the defense sector, including military
education and exercises, military industry, and air forces.
