ZHOGHOVURD: ARMENIAN DELEGATION’S VISIT TO EUROPE CANCELED AT EUROPEAN SIDE’S REQUEST

Reliable sources informed the newspaper that an Armenian government
delegation’s visit to Brussels has been canceled at the European
side’s request.
Armenia’s Minister of Economy Vahram Avanesyan was to head the
delegation, which was to leave for Brussels this week to discuss
further cooperation with the European Union (EU).
However, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s decision in favor of the
Customs Union made the European side cancel the planned meetings of
the Armenian delegation.
On its part, the press service of Armenia’s Ministry of Economy denied
the information.
