Baku – APA. Moschino company of Italy has refuted reports that the
company is going to start production in Nagorno Karabakh, said
spokesman for Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev at
today’s press conference, APA reports.
According to him, Moschino company has sent a letter to Azerbaijan
on October 14. The letter says: “These reports are baseless and
disinformation. The company doesn’t intend and has never intended to
start production in Nagorno Karabakh, which is under the occupation
of Armenia. Antonella Gamba, who has been named by Armenian media,
has nothing to do with Moschino company.”
Earlier, Italian companies Versace, Armani and Prada denied reports
of the Armenian media outlets about the intention to start production
in Nagorno Karabakh.

“Moschino” denies Armenian media report on plans to build factory in
Azerbaijan’s occupied territories

World-famous brand “Moschino” has denied reports in the Armenian media
on plans to build.a factory in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan,
spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev told
journalists on Thursday.
The company did not have and does not have any plans to build a
factory in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan and the Armenian
reports are false and groundless, according to a company response
given to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Italy.
Earlier, the embassy sent a request to the company’s management in
connection with the reports.
The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988
when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. Armenian
armed forces have occupied 20 per cent of Azerbaijan since 1992,
including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven surrounding districts.
Azerbaijan and Armenia signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994. The
co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Russia, France and the U.S. are
currently holding peace negotiations.
Armenia has not yet implemented the U.N. Security Council’s four
resolutions on the liberation of the Nagorno-Karabakh and the
surrounding regions.
