ARMENIA TO REPAY RF’S LOAN

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 3, ARMENPRESS: With the money, got from the
distribution of the Euro bonds, Armenia will repay the principal
amount of the loan provided by the Russian Federation during the
world economic crisis – $440 million and the percents. As reported by
Armenpress, this was stated by the Minister of Finance of the Republic
of Armenia David Sargsyan at the session of the Government of Armenia.
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Sargsyan touched
upon the negative conclusions made by some figures concerning the
distribution process of the Euro bonds. “The distribution was carried
out by three world famous companies – Deutsche Bank, GP Morgan and
HSBC. We managed to distribute the bonds by the lowest rates”, –
emphasized the Prime Minister.
Armenia issued Euro bonds with the total value of $700 million.
