Armenia’s Pre-Parliament civic initiative reports that Souren
Gevorgyan, one of its supporters, was severely beaten last night near
his house and is now in intensive care.
The group issued a release today stating that Souren Gevorgyan and
Sahak Poghosyan, another supporter, were set upon yesterday by a
local thug called Hratch merely due to their political beliefs.
Gevorgyan suffered head trauma and might need to be operated on if
his condition doesn’t improve in the next 72 hours.
