FRENCH AND SWEDISH PERFUME MUCH IN DEMAND IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, AUGUST 28, ARMENPRESS. At the course of the first six
months of the current year the majority of perfume was imported
to the Republic of Armenia from Sweden, United Arab Emirates, and
France. The cheapest perfume was imported from China. During the first
six months of 2013 Armenia imported 10.2 tons of perfume from Sweden,
10 tons from United Arab Emirates, and 8.3 from France. In accordance
with the data of the State Revenue Service of the Government of the
Republic of Armenia, during the first six months of the current year
48 tons of perfume were imported to the Republic of Armenia. During
the same period of the previous year this data equaled to 45.3 tons
(approximately 6 percent growth).

As reports “Armenpress”, during the first 6 months of the current year
Armenia imported large volume of perfumes from the Russian Federation
(7.3 tons), China (5.9 tons), Poland (1.5 tons), Italy (about 1.1
tons), Great Britain (About 0.9 tons), and the United States (about
0.7 tons).
