HAYKAKAN ZHAMANAK: LUSASTGH SUGAR NOT ON LIST OF LARGE TAXPAYERS

Lusastgh Sugar Company is not on the list of Armenia’s largest
taxpayers. The list was released by the State Revenue Committee a
few days ago. Yet, according to data of the RA National Statistical
Service, 22,500 tons of sugar was produced in Armenia.
This is an example showing that high-ranking officials’ statements
about the fight against the shadow economy are related only to small
businesses, rather than oligarchs, ‘Haykakan Zhamanak’ says.
