An American-Armenian football fan gave a T-shirt as a gift to Armenian
national football team and Russia’s FC Spartak Moscow forward Yura
Movsisyan.
Before Spartak’s first-round away match, which was played on
Tuesday against FC Krylia Sovetov of Samara in the new season of the
Russian Premier League, the fan came to the hotel-where Spartak was
staying-wearing a “Godfather” T-shirt, presented to Movsisyan a similar
T-shirt but with the 25-year-old Armenian international’s face on it,
and with the inscription: THE DON.
Movsisyan thanked the fan for the gift, and noted that someone who
receives such honor must score a goal in each match, Sovsport.ru
reports.
To note, FC Spartak Moscow defeated Krylia Sovetov by a score of 2-1,
and Yura Movsisyan converted a penalty kick.
