WORLD AND EUROPEAN CHAMPION TURKISH WRESTLER MIGHT BE PUNISHED FOR INSULTING ARMENIANS

YEREVAN, JULY 12, ARMENPRESS: The world and European champion Turkish
wrestler, the Olympic bronze medalist Rıza Kayaalp, competing in the
120 kg division of Greco-Roman wrestling, who insulted the Armenians,
might be seriously punished.
As reported by Armenpress, this was published by the Turkish Radikal
Periodical.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has got applications to
punish Rıza Kayaalp. The International Federation of Associated
Wrestling Styles (FILA) as well has got complaints against the
Turkish wrestler.
During the anti-governmental actions held in the Gezi Park of Taksim
Square Rıza Kayaalp published in his Twitter page: “You left the
square to the Armenians. Let Allah punish the protestingrobbers”, “The
Armenian people celebrate, thinking that they have occupied the Taksim
Square and can easily insult Turkey”, “Betrayers of the Motherland”.
