The No.10 uniform of Borussia Dortmund has become a new “headache”
for the German Bundesliga.
The Germans are learning to correctly pronounce the surname of Armenian
national football team midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Bild reports.
“Borussia acquired H.M [i.e., Henrikh Mkhitaryan]. [But] how should
his last name be pronounced? ‘Miktaryan,’ or ‘Mukhtaryan?’ No one
knows exactly how the surname of the Armenian player is pronounced,”
Bild writes.
To note, Henrikh Mkhitaryan will wear the No.10 jersey at Borussia
Dortmund. The Armenian international signed a four-year deal with
the eight-time Bundesliga champions.
