Baku. Rashad Suleymanov – APA. “The deployment of sophisticated weapons
in Armenia by Russia demonstrates the support to its ally,” member of
The Grand National Assembly of Turkey, MHP deputy Sinan Ogan told APA.

According to him, Turkey and Azerbaijan are closest allies like
Russia and Armenia: “These countries have also provided each other
with military support along with political and economic support. The
establishment of military bases and delivery of new arm systems are
the demonstration of power. To my mind, deployment of new long range
missile systems by Russia in the military base in Armenia is also
related with the Syrian crisis. It is not correct to think that it
has been considered against Turkey. There can not be a war between
Turkey and Russia. Both states are large countries of the region. These
states can also raise their voices against each other.”

Ogan also added that Turkey is constantly following the process near
its borders.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
