ARMENIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS GOES ON DEMANDING POLITICAL PRISONER’S RELEASE

Activists of the Armenian National Congress (ANC) party held a protest
in front of the Prosecutor General’s Office on Friday.
They demand the release of political prisoner Tigran Arakelyan.
Aram Manukyan and Levon Zurabyan, ANC parliamentary group members,
were among the protesters.
“This time we have gathered to demand Tigran Arakelyan’s release,”
Zurabyan said.
He wants Arakelyan to know that his fellow members are “backing
him up.”
Tigran Arakelyan was imprisoned for hooliganism and violence against
a public agent.
