ARMENIA’S NEW CASINO SETS $25,000 AS MINIMUM FOR FOREIGN CLIENTELE – NEWSPAPER

YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia Party Chairman, businessman Gagik
Tsarukyan built his huge Paravon (Pharaoh) entertainment and gaming
center to attract customers from abroad, Zhamanak daily reports.

“Rumors are already circulating that it is planned to bring clientele
groups from China, Russia, and [several] other countries.

In addition, these groups will be transported from the airport
immediately to Paravon, [and] again back to the airport [after their
stay at the casino].

According to our information, there is another principle in this
center: $25,000 as minimum amount of stay for each client that arrives
from abroad. In this case, the entertainment center which Tsarukyan
built may be more advantageous for gamblers from RF [i.e., Russian
Federation], or China, since a relatively “inexpensive” minimum amount
of stay is set.

Incidentally, the $25,000 also include transporting the client from
his country to Paravon, hotel [accommodation] costs, food, and a
variety of other entertainment and fun,” Zhamanak writes.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
