ARMENIA HELD ANOTHER SHAMEFUL ELECTION – TRANSPARENCY INTERNATIONAL

YEREVAN. – Armenia held another shameful election, variety of election
irregularities is surprising, Transparency International said.

Deputy head of the organization’s Armenian chapter Sona Ayvazyan said
they were monitoring the vote in several electoral districts.

“Obstacles to journalists’ work, threats and psychological pressure
was observed starting from the morning,” she told reporters on Monday.

The situation was relatively calm in the precincts where
representatives of different political forces were present, Ayvazyan
added.

Transparency International has filed 40 complaints on irregularities
to the district electoral commissions.
