CLASHES IN TURKEY’S IZMIR AT ARMENIAN GENOCIDE COMMEMORATION EVENT (PHOTOS)

An incident has occurred in Turkish town of Izmir during the
commemoration of the Armenian Genocide victims, Haber7 website reports.
A fight has occurred between two groups having different approaches.
The police managed to calm down the parties.
Head of People’s Salvation party’s local branch delivered a speech
on behalf of 30-member group, stating that there was no genocide and
it was made up by the USA.
On behalf of 150-member group gathered in the same territory Zeynep
Tozduman delivered a speech stating that Armenian Genocide was
committed.
The two groups exchanged offensive phrases after which a fight
started. After police’s interference the clash ended.
