Raffi K. Hovannisian’s `New Armenia Movement’ continues
border-to-border regional tours
Yerevan–On April 19, 2013 the representatives of political parties
and civil society organizations, as well as the free citizens of
Armenia who, taken together, expressed their support to join R.
Hovhannisian’s Movement cast a free vote in favor of the `New Armenia
Declaration.’
Today the leaders of political forces, together with the supporters
from broad-based civil society movements, have continued the tour of
regional meetings under the leadership of R. Hovhannisian aimed at
conveying the ideas of the Movement to common citizens as well as
extending the boundaries of the `New Armenia” initiative through the
partnership of like-minded citizens and associations. To this end, the
opening of public debates is intended to set the foundation for
national program, which R. Hovhannisian will offer on May 9, 2013, at
3pm, on Liberty Square.
