ARRESTED KURDISH JOURNALIST PAYS TRIBUTE TO ARMENIAN GENOCIDE VICTIMS

During Wednesday’s Turkish court trial into the case of the Union
of Communities in Kurdistan (KCK), one of the defendants, journalist
Ertus Bozkurt, paid respects to the victims of the Armenian Genocide.
During the trial Bozkurt made a statement on behalf of all the
defendants, CNN Turk news agency of Turkey reports.
“Today, [Wednesday,] April 24, is the anniversary of the Armenian
massacres. We share the grief of the Armenians,” Ertus Bozkurt stated
