ARMENIAN GYMNASTS RETURNED FROM BELARUS WITH MEDALS

YEREVAN, APRIL 16, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian acrobatic athletes
returned with medals from the annually held international tournament
taking place in Belarus. As Armenpress was reported by the Ministry
of Sports and Youth Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Armenia was
presented in the tournament by the athletes of the Gyumri Gymnasts
sports school: Gayane Kocharyan, Hasmik Simonyan, Christine Shimalyan,
Armen Simonyan, Gohar Karapetyan, Gohar Grigoryan and Anahit Ginosyan.
The delegation of the gymnasts left for Belarus was headed by the
trainer Armine Hovsepyan.
All the gymnasts in their types of sports placed the second and were
rewarded with medals, certificates and souvenirs. The tournament was
attended by 200 gymnasts from six countries: Armenia, Russia, Belarus,
Ukraine, Moldova and Transdniestrian Republic.
