Qalbakian supports formation of technocrat Cabinet

‘Armenian bloc’ Deputy Sebouh Qalbakain said after meeting with Prime
Minister-designate Tammam Salam that his bloc would support the
formation of a technocrat Cabinet. ‘Our bloc has offered readiness to
provide facilities to speed up the formation of the Cabinet,’ he
added.
He added that they demanded the need to approve an electoral law with
good representation and to hold the upcoming elections on schedule.
‘We asked kindly Salam not to marginalize the Armenian community and
to grant it basic portfolios,’ the MP stressed. Salam is currently
meeting with ‘Baath Party’ that includes deputies Assem Qanso and
Qassem Hashem.
