Armenian community of Germany has disseminated a statement slamming
the Armenian authorities for atmosphere of impunity and outrage in
the country that resulted in the presidential election rigging.
“Governor of the Syunik Region Surik Khachatryan hit a business-woman
in public in the city center and remained unpunished. He is still
on his position of the governor. Former Mayor Gagik Beglaryan beat
an employee of the Presidential Administration and after a not long
interval he was appointed Minister of
Transport and Communications. The murderers of the military doctor
Vahe Avetyan are jeering your justice and their patrons are still in
freedom,” reads the statement of the Armenian community addressed to
the Armenian authorities.
The authors of the statement say that Serzh Sargsyan’s regime is not
only unable to bring the above persons responsible but also gives
them legal shelters and security guarantees.
