JAZZMAN TIGRAN HAMASYAN PARTICIPATED IN NORWEGIAN MOVIE SOUNDTRACK RECORDING

YEREVAN, MARCH 27, ARMENPRESS: Renowned jazzman Tigran Hamasyan
tried his hand in movie music. Norwegian director Torun Lian filmed
the famous love story of the late XIX century “Victoria” (Victoria)
by Norwegian writer Knut Hamsuns.

As Armenpress reports citing armenianjazz.am, the recording was
made jointly with Norwegian musicians Jan Bang – Programming, Eric
Honore – synthesizer, Arve Henriksen – trumpet and vocals, Robert
Jurjendal – guitar and Tigran Hamasyan. Jazz musicians play together
with Bratislava Symphony Orchestra (conductor – David Hernando). The
author of most of the compositions is Jan Bang.

The music was also released with separate CD on Jazzland Recordings
label on March 1, 2013.
