GORAVAN VILLAGE PEOPLE TOOK REVENGE ON HEAD OF COMMUNITY

The Zhoghovurd reported that the people of Goravan village, Ararat
Marz, took “revenge” on the head of community Arsen Bazikyan for Serzh
Sargsyan’s “victory” in their village. According to the newspaper,
the majority of the village voters, 2910 people, voted for Raffi
Hovannisian, but thanks to the village head the votes were ascribed
to Serzh Sargsyan. The members of the community cut all the trees on
30 hectares of the orchard that belongs to the head of the village
who denied any relation to the incident, also noting that the orchard
belonged to his brother and his friend.
