Armenian Embassy Holds Charity Concert In Japan

ARMENIAN EMBASSY HOLDS CHARITY CONCERT IN JAPAN

PanARMENIAN.Net – Japanese city of Fukoka hosted a charity concert
dedicated to the second anniversary of an earthquake and tsunami in
the province of Tohoku on Monday, March 11.

The concert was initiated by the Armenian embassy and Gharibyan Krounk
Dance Company.

At the event, the Ambassador of Armenia to Japan Hrant Poghosyan
expressed support for the people of Japan who were among the first
to help Armenia after the devastating earthquake in December 1988.

The concert featured classical Armenian music as well as performances
by Gharibyan Ballet Academy students. The charity concert proceeds were
donated to the victims of Tohoku earthquake and orphaned children. The
event hosted 800 people, Foreign Ministry press service reported.
