YEREVAN, MARCH 6, ARMENPRESS: The President of the Russian Federation
Vladimir Putin awarded Armenian and Russian intellectuals for their
remarkable contribution to the strengthening of the Armenian-Russian
ties. As Armenpress reports citing Kremlin official web site, the
Head of the Literature Institute after Manuk Abeghyan of the National
Academy of Sciences Avetik Isahakyan was awarded with Pushkin medal
for contributing to the fraternal ties with Russia and strengthening
the cultural and scientific relations with Russia .

Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction Rector
Hovhannes Tokmajyan and rector~Rs assistant of the Armenian-Russian
International University after Mkhitar Gosh Julieta Kuzina received
a letter of gratification for strengthening the Russian-Armenian
cultural and scientific ties and protection of Russian language from
the President of the Russian Federation.
