HERITAGE LEADER PRAISES VAZGEN SARGSYAN PATRIOTISM (VIDEO)

Armenian military commander Vazgen Sargsyan is first of all an
Armenian man who loved his country too much to sacrifice his life,
the Heritage party’s leader said Tuesday at the Yerablur cemetery.

“We must accept his heritage and do all our best to realize these
young people’s [the young members of the volunteers’ union Yerkrapah]
message,” Raffi Hovhannisian told reporters at a ceremony commemorating
the national hero and statesman. “I am sure our people are back here,
and I will give my answer starting from today until Sunday.”

Vazgen Sargsyan was killed in the October 27, 1999 terror act in
Armenia’s parliament. He was a prime minister at the time.
