The ongoing students protest actions are not aimed at supporting any
political force, one of the activists of the “students revolution”
Tigran Poghosyan told ArmInfo on Thursday.
“We are not going to politicize our struggle and to join the ongoing
political rallies. We are not supporting Raffi Hovhannisian. We are
just protesting against the force that has won the past presidential
election,” Poghosyan said, adding that the protest actions will
be continued.
The actions started on Feb 25. The protesters are visiting Yerevan’s
universities and are urging students to boycott their lessons in
protest of the victory of Serzh Sargsyan in the past presidential
election, but very few students have joined them so far.
