Marina Grigoryan, Head of the Nothing but Genocide project held a press
conference commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Sumgait tragedy.
She reported that the book entitled ‘Sumgait tragedy. Eyewitness
accounts’ has been published in nine languages.
“The book authored by Samvel Shahverdyan was first released in 1989.
We plan to publish the second volume,” she said.
“We have a film about the Sumgait pogroms translated into five
languages,” Ms Grigoryan said. This January the book was published
in Spanish and Italian.
