GROWTH RECORDED IN LIVE FISH AND FOWL EXPORTED FROM ARMENIA TO GEORGIA

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 26, ARMENPRESS: The number of live fish and fowl
exported from Armenia to Georgia increased in comparison with 2011
data, reportedly 43 and 36 percent growth has been recorded .
Government adjunct State Revenue Committee told Armenpress 16, 9 tons
of live fish and 169 pieces of live fowls were exported from the
Republic of Armenia to Georgia. The export from Armenia to Georgia
amounted 71 million 398 thousand dollars in 2012 .
The total volume of export of the Republic of Armenia makes 1 billion
428 million dollars in 2012. Germany (153 million 111 thousand
dollars), Bulgaria (129 million 302 thousand), the Netherlands (79
million 717 thousand) are considered Armenia’s main European partner-
countries in export sphere.
