At this moment, a small group of citizens is trying to approach the
OSCE / ODIHR office on Baghramyan Avenue, but the police formed a
chain and blocked their movement in the area next to Chekhov school.

This, according to the characterization of the protesters, is another
spontaneous action as a protest against the international observers’
assessments concerning the elections. They hold small posters in
English.

As the protester Karen Harutyunyan noted the participants present
observers the facts about elections, which, as the observers stated,
“they didn’t see and wish the observes elections similar to the one
in Armenia in their home countries”.

Police urged protesters to enter the sidewalk and not to block the
work of the school and other institutions, as well as the movement
of the citizens.

The participants are assertive, however, as they say, they have no
intention of confrontation.

By the way, the number of police officers and reporters present
exceeds the number of participants in the protest action.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
