YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 19, ARMENPRESS: President of OSCE Parliamentary
Assembly Riccardo Migliori on February 19 visited Tsitsernakaberd
memorial, to pay tribute to the memory of Armenian Genocide’s victims.

Migliori laid wreath at the memorial of the genocide’s victims and
honored with silence the memory of one and half million innocent
victims. He also visited Armenian Genocide Institute-Museum, got
acquainted with the documents confirming the fact of Armenian Genocide,
and afterwards left a note in the guest book. Migliori also planted
a tree in the Memory Alley.

President of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly noted in the interview with
Armenpress, that Armenian Genocide was a rather touching and sad story
for him. “The goal of our visit is to get acquainted and understand
what really happened in 1915. Many countries are not aware of Armenian
genocide and time is needed in order all recognize Armenian Genocide.

That is the tragedy of not only Armenians but all Christians of the
world. If we acknowledge our past, we will able to share our future,”
Riccardo Migliori, who is of Italian nationality, said.

Italy officially recognized Armenian Genocide in 2000.
