RAFFI HOVANNISIAN PROMISED TO PROTECT VOTES AT THE EXPENSE OF HIS LIFE

YEREVAN.- Presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian promised to protect
the votes of electorate at the expense of his life.
Speaking during an open air news conference in Liberty Square,
Hovannisian said Armenian people’s votes have been stolen and the
results rigged for already 20 years.
“It is time for us to launch struggle and get victory at the request of
the Armenian people. The sad tradition must come to an end,” he said.
At the same time, he explained that the fight will be carried out by
all constitutional means, adding that all the concrete steps will be
developed in the course of wide discussions.
As one of the most interesting scenarios, he pointed at early
parliamentary elections “in which the Armenian society and, we all
together, will get inevitable victory.”
As reported by Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent, the press
conference is over. Hovannisian bid farewell till 5 pm tomorrow.
