ARMENIAN PRESIDENT SARGSYAN RE-ELECTED IN THE FIRST ROUND

The current President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has won the
presidential election in the first round with 58 percent of votes in
his favor, according to exit-polls.
The turnout was estimated at over 1.5 million people , or just over 60
percent of the total electorate. According to law, the candidate who
receives 50 percent of votes even in the first round wins the election.
