CHIEF ARCHITECT OF RUSSIA’S VSEVOLOZHSKI REGION EDUARD HAKOBIAN SHOT DEAD

Chief architect of Vsevolozhski region of Russia’s Leningrad province,
ethnic Armenian Eduard Hakobian has been shot dead, Russian NTV
reports.
The 61-year-old architect was murdered on Tuesday evening with a shot
to his head. He was killed near Vsevad company’s office belonging to
his wife.
At about 8 pm Hakobian left the office and approached his wife’s car.
At that moment people inside the building heard shots, looked out of
the window and saw a shot man. Police officials told 47News that the
murderer shot at Hakobyan’s chin just once and left calmly.
The architect was transported to hospital where he died without coming
into conscious, though ITAR-TASS reports that Hakobian died in the
ambulance car.
