NOTED IRANIAN-ARMENIAN INTELLECTUAL LEVON MINASIAN REMEMBERED AT NATIONAL LIBRARY EVENT

A day of remembrance for Levon Minasian, the noted Iranian-Armenian
teacher, academic and national activist who recently passed away at the
age of 93, was held on January 22 at the National Library of Armenia.
For more than seven decades, Minasian headed various educational
institutions in Nor Jugha and published numerous works on Armenian
history and literature.
His “A History of the Armenians of Pera” and “The Armenian Bards of
Pera” are of particular note.
