UCOM TO ENHANCE INTERNET ACCESS IN YEREVAN SCHOOLS

Ucom, Armenia’s biggest new generation Internet provider, is planning
to enhance the internet speed in the secondary schools of Yerevan.
The issue has been discussed at a meeting between Ucom director,
Hayk Yesayan, and Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan,
who visited the company earlier today.
Ucom, has for now equipped 1,422 secondary schools with computers
and connection devices, and built local area networks.
It is now planning to increase the Internet speed in the schools of
capital city to 20Mbt/sec.
