Ä°LKERSAHIN KILLED IN TURKEY IS NOT ARMENIAN

YEREVAN, JANUARY 11, ARMENPRESS. Information of the Turkish media
regarding Ä°lker Å~^ahin’s Armenian nationality, who was recently
murdered in Kadikoy district of Istanbul, Turkey, is a misinformation.
As reports “Armenpress” citing yerkirmedia.am, Aramyan School stated
that Ä°lker Å~^ahin was lecturing in the Armenian school, but she
was a Turk.
Ä°lker Å~^ahin, aged 40, was teaching for 9 years in Aramyan
school. She was killed just in her own house. Days long not hearing
any new from Å~^ahin, her relatives visited her apartment and got her
corpse. Her throat was cut. In accordance with the investigation’s
preliminary version the assassination was committed during the
robbery. No further details on the murder have been revealed. The
investigation continues.
