Nursing-homes host 1230 pensioners in Armenia

YEREVAN. – There are various festive events organized and gifts
prepared for the pensioners in the nursing-homes of Armenia,
representative on the disabled people at the Armenian Ministry of
Labor and Social Affairs Arthur Kesoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The main issue for people wishing to work at the nursing-homes is
linked to employment, improvement of living conditions and the amount
of pension. According to him, there are 4 state and 4 private
nursing-homes hosting 1,230 pensioners and they receive 7/24 care next
to other programs, including social services for the lonely elderly at
home.
