YEREVAN.- Success of Armenia’s foreign policy is conditioned by
Azerbaijan’s blunders, head of Regional Studies Center Richard
Giragosian told reporters.

Although there has been recently no movement in the Karabakh peace
process, Azerbaijan has changed becoming more unpredictable, causing
harm to itself.

In particular, political analyst pointed out the incident with Ramil
Safarov’s extradition.

“Glorification of the murderer was a present for Armenia. The incident
damaged Azerbaijan’s image considerably,” he said. Thus, Baku proved
that Nagorno-Karabakh cannot be a part of Azerbaijan.

“In general Armenia’s foreign policy had strong positions in 2012 but
Yerevan must be more active, as its success is mainly conditioned by
Baku’s blunders,” Giragosian emphasized.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
