TWO ARMENIAN CHESS-PLAYERS WON AT METROPOLITAN TOURNAMENT

Two Armenian chess players – 12-year-old Samuel Sevian and GM Melikset
Khachiyan (USA) scored 6 points each out of 9 and shared 1st-2nd places
at the 23rd Metropolitan tournament that was held in Los Angeles,
USA. Armchess.am informs about this

Sevian exceeded the International Master norm by 1,5 points fulfilling
it for the third time. Samuel was lacking of only half a point for
the Grandmaster norm.
