TURKISH MINISTER LISTENS TO ARMENIAN STUDENTS’ SONGS

Turkey’s National Education Minister Omer Dincer visited the Private
Pangalti (Mkhitaryan) Armenian High School of Istanbul, and attended
the “Brotherhood of Languages” presentation by the school students.

In his remarks, Dincer, who was invited to the school, spoke about the
need for the different nationalities of Turkey to live together and in
brotherhood, and stressed that the new school system in the country
will enable the schoolchildren to learn about their own religions,
Radikal daily of Turkey reports.

The Turkish minister watched the aforementioned presentation, during
which several songs and compositions were performed in Armenian and
in Turkish.
