ARMENIA HAS 140 HOTELS AND LODGINGS

YEREVAN. – Armenia has 140 different types of hotels and lodgings,
with 9,600 beds, informs the study which Ameria Company conducted on
the country’s tourism and hotel business sector.
In line with this research, 77 percent of the aforesaid hotels
are economy class, which include 39 percent of the total number of
hotel rooms in the country. And 27 percent of the hotel rooms are
high quality.
Capital city Yerevan has 46 different types of hotels, with 3,200
beds. Also, Yerevan has close to 30 different types of lodgings,
with about 700 beds.
Overall, there are virtually 3,900 beds in the Armenian capital city’s
places of temporary residence.
