French Development Agency Leadership To Arrive In Armenia

FRENCH DEVELOPMENT AGENCY LEADERSHIP TO ARRIVE IN ARMENIA

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 6, ARMENPRESS: Aram Hautyunyan, Minister of
Nature Protection of the Republic of Armenia received Henri Reynaud,
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic
to Armenia. The sides discussed the intentions to set the agreements
reached upon during President Serzh Sargsyan visit paid to France
going, as well as issues refer to the development of Armenian-French
cooperation.

Ambassador Reynaud noted this meeting is the first during the his
holding the office of the Ambassador, and reportedly the sides have
agreed to turn those meetings regular. By the request of Henri Reynaud,
Minister Harutyunyan presented the works implemented in the Nature
Protection field.

French Ambassador stressed the need to continue and make more tangible
cooperation in the field of environmental protection. Aram Harutyunyan
suggested to invite French Ministry of Nature Protection staff workers
to Armenia aimed at exchange of experience and getting acquaintance
to ecotourism potential.

Henri Reynaud stated French Development Agency leadership is scheduled
to arrive in Armenia in the nearest future, and in case of consent
between the sides a meeting will be planned to envisage a range of
issues pertain to the financing of the projects.
