ARMENIA HAS NEW WINE AND BRANDY FACTORY

Golden Grape Armas Company put into operation a new wine and brandy
factory in Armenia’s Aragatsotn Region.

The plant is installed with the most modern equipment manufactured by
the Italian Granzotto Company, and Italian experts have designed this
factory.

The Government of Armenia on Thursday authorized Golden Grape Armas
Company a three-year postponement in the payment of the value added
tax on some imported goods.

To note, Golden Grape Armas had made huge investments in the
uncultivated areas of Kosh and Sasunik villages of the aforesaid
region. As a result, vineyards are established today in more than 160
hectares of land, 400,000 grapevines are planted, and there orchards
in a 40-hectare area.
