Armenian Pianist Is Awarded Moscow Composers’ Union Medal

ARMENIAN PIANIST IS AWARDED MOSCOW COMPOSERS’ UNION MEDAL

At the invitation of Chairman Oleg Galakhov of the Union of Moscow
Composers, renowned Armenian pianist Hayk Melikyan gave a solo
concert, during which he performed 20th-century and contemporary
music masterpieces.

At the end of the event, the Chairman of the Union of Moscow Composers
awarded to Hayk Melikyan the honorary medal entitled: “To Maestro Hayk
Melikyan, for his contribution to the development and dissemination
of contemporary music.”

To note, Melikyan’s final concerts for this year will take place
in Montreal, Canada, on Sunday, and in Geneva, Switzerland, on
December 20.
