Afghan Defense Minister grateful for Armenia’s contribution to stability
YEREVAN, November 30. /ARKA/. Defense Minister of Afghanistan
Bismillah Mohammadi expressed gratitude to Armenia’s leadership and
peacekeepers for their contribution to the stability, at his meeting
with Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan who is currently in
Kabul for an official visit.
Press service of Armenian Ministry of Defense reported that Mohammadi
appreciated the role of Armenian peacekeepers in training Afghan
security forces.
Ohanyan, in his turn, assured that Armenia will continue taking part
in coalition forces to establish long-lasting peace and security in
Afghanistan.
Armenian peacekeeping German-led contingent is in Kunduz and
Mazar-i-Sharif provinces as part of North regional command of
International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan. -0–
