The Vanadzor chemical plant will be re-operated in about a fortnight,
Executive Director Aleksander Snegiryev told Tert.am.

Under a contract with Armenia’s Ministry Agriculture, the plant will
produce mineral fertilizers.

The Armenia TV channel has lately reported that the Vanadzor chemical
plant has announced 170 vacancies for chemists, engineers, and other
specialists, the average monthly wages being AMD 100,000 (about $200).

Talking to Tert.am, Mr Snigeryev’s secretary said that the plant never
ordered advertising. “We are inviting our old specialists,” she said.

In his later talk with Tert.am, Mr Snegiryov said that the plant has
vacancies for narrow specialists – technologists, operators.
