The South Caucasus Railway (SCR) has resumed the Vardenis-Shorzha
train service since 8 am, Nov 17. The SCR press service told ArmInfo
that the relevant work had been done throughout the night.
To recall, the train service was suspended due to the collapse of the
reinforced-concrete bridge in Vardenis (north of Armenia). The
collapse of the bridge killed three people – residents of Vardenis and
Sevan.
SCR (subsidiary of the Russian Railway) is the concessionaire of the
Armenian Railway.
