YOUNG MAN WHO IS SUPPOSEDLY ARMENIAN INJURED IN NICOSIA

A 30-year old man, supposedly Armenian, was injured in the reported
incident near Eleftheria square in central Nicosia on Wednesday,Cyprus
Mailreported.
The man was taken to hospital in a critical condition. He had injury
to one of his kidneys and a partially ruptured spleen. He was also
wounded in the shoulder blade.
The young man is a Greek citizen, believed to be of Armenian descent,
the daily says. The victim has so far been unable to give police a
clear account of what happened.
